Poole Ferry Terminal is a 5 minute drive from the Hotel and a 20-25 minutes walk through the town centre and across the harbour bridge. There are road signs and a white ferry symbol painted on the road to direct you to the terminal.
There is a daily spring/summer crossing to Cherbourg serviced by Brittany Ferries onboard the Barfleur, and daily all seasons crossings to St Malo, Jersey and Guernsey serviced by Condor Ferries.

There are two main bus operators serving the city, namely Transdev company, recognisable by their yellow buses, and Wilst & Dorset by their red buses. Both companies run buses from the main bus station and serve several links through town and offer value for money day tickets. The main bus station is situated in the town centre right alongside the Dolphin Shopping Centre and is just over 5 minutes walk away from the Hotel.
For journeys outside the city Poole offers excellent coach links. There is a National Express Coach Stop in the Seldown Coach and Carpark adjacent to the main bus station.
National Express operate up to 16 departures every day to London Victoria and there are 12 regular Airport services to both Heathrow and Gatwick. National Express also offer services to the West Country, Bristol, Brighton, Eastbourne, Birmingham, and the North. Tickets can be purchased directly from the driver.
Transdev Yellow Buses offer trips to Bournemouth or Christchurch from Poole.
Wilst & Dorset also offer several routes to Bournemouth from Poole and also run a circular bus service called Route One every 15 minutes during the day. This service is run with distinctive sky blue buses and starts and finishes at Poole main bus station in front of the Dolphin Centre and loops around via the railway station, Poole Hospital, the town centre and the quay with a journey time of about 25 minutes.
In summer Wilst & Dorset also run an open-top bus around Poole and Bournemouth. This is a great time to capture a magnificent view of the area in the open air. A ride not to miss is from Bournemouth down to the golden sandy beach of Sandbanks and to the seaside resort of Swanage with a short crossing of Poole Bay on the chain ferry.

Poole is on the main South West Trains line between London Waterloo and Weymouth and trains run every half hour with a journey time from and to Waterloo of just over 2 hours.
Poole Railway Station is located at the back of the bus station in the town centre. The quickest way from the Hotel is to take the Serpentine Road right behind the Barclays House building and follow this road to the train station. It is a 5 minutes walk or 1 minute drive to and from the Hotel.
